Amy C. Warren

Amy C. Warren (nee Buehler), of Festus, MO, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Robert Warren; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Georgana Buehler; devoted mother of Charis (Steven) Bibb and Christopher (Nicole) Weinrich; dear sister of Jan (Richard) Sandberg. beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Amy earned her associate degree from Hickey’s Business College and went on to dedicate 30 years of service to Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator before retiring. She was also a proud member of the Communication Workers of America (CWA).

Amy had a deep love for life and the arts. She especially loved to dance and took lessons at a studio in St. Peters, Missouri, where she learned routines such as the tango, cha-cha, and waltz. She also had a passion for painting and drawing, further nurturing her creativity through classes at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Missouri.

A gifted writer, Amy had a special love for poetry. She could compose heartfelt pieces on nearly any subject with remarkable ease, touching the lives of those who read her words.

Above all, Amy loved Jesus. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She frequently attended church services and weekly Bible studies with friends, but her most cherished moments were the quiet ones spent alone with God. She could often be found sitting at her kitchen table, deeply engaged in prayer and meditation with her favorite study Bible.

Amy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
