Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd UCC or Evangelical Children's Home, St. Louis. Amanda B. Helling, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Elmer P. Helling; dear daughter of the late Herman J. and Maria Kottwitz; devoted mother of David E. (Laura) Helling and Mary E. (David) Cahill; cherished grandmother of Julia Dumenigo, Mark, Kathryn, Kerry, and Scott Helling, and Christopher, Timothy, and Benjamin Cahill; beloved great-grandmother of 6. She is preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. She was a long time member of Good Shepherd UCC.
