Alyssa Greenwell, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at the age of 23. Cherished daughter of Christine A. (Andy) Barker and Jeffrey V. (Karin) Greenwell; loving granddaughter of Ronnie and Sharon Barker, the late Paula Vanderpool, the late William & Maryann Poulos and the late James & Barbara Greenwell; dear sister of Alex Greenwell; step-sister of Andrew (Emily) Barker, Jayden Barker, and Wilson Barker; Alyssa was a cherished niece, cousin and friend to many. She is also survived by her beloved fur baby, Izzy.
Alyssa was an avid sports fan and had an affinity for the St. Louis sports teams, i.e.; St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues and she loved her Fighting Irish Football. She loved snowboarding in Colorado, and even hiked Mt. Democrat.
Alyssa was a kindhearted soul that would help anyone, she volunteered at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She was adventurous, courageous and lived life to the fullest.
Alyssa heroically fought Lymphoma and complications from her bone marrow transplant. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.
