Alvin J. Terbrock

Alvin “Al” John Terbrock beloved husband of Patricia “Pat” (nee Hanebrink) Terbrock for 60 years.

Loving father of Steve (Michelle), Scott (Lisa), David (Donna), and Sandie (nee Terbrock) Portmann (Doug).

Adored Grandfather of Kyle, Hannah, Hailey, Paige, Cayman, and Cody.

Son of the late Clara (nee Elfrink) and Fred Terbrock, Al was born at home in Overland, MO. He was the cherished brother of Alice (Sister Sharon Rose), Virgil, Violet, Sharon, and Elaine. Al was also considered a brother to his brother & sister-in-laws, as well as an uncle to numerous nieces & nephews.

Al passed away in his O’Fallon, MO home on November 29, 2023 at the age of 89.

After graduating from Christian Brothers College (CBC) High School, Al served in the Army. Later, Al and his brother Virg owned F. H. Terbrock & Sons, a carpenter contracting company started by their late father Fred.

Al was a devoted family man. He worked hard to provide a wonderful life for his wife and children that included weekends at the Cuba lakehouse and fishing and jet skiing at the Troy farm. Al and Pat were charter members of Lake Forest Country Club where they were avid golfers. He also enjoyed tennis, bowling, and racquetball over the years, as well as cheering on the St. Louis baseball and football teams.

Al was known for being a hardworking, kind, and positive person, always willing to help others in need. Al will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Catholic mass honoring Al will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Parish (1355 Motherhead Rd, St. Charles, MO 63304) on Saturday, December 9^th at 11:30AM where family will greet friends from 10:30AM until the time of mass.
