Alvin J. Beiter

Memorial contributions may be given to the Donor's Choice. Dear husband of 60 years to the late Audrey B. "Mickie" Beiter, dear father of Janet Allgire (David) and John Beiter (Lisa). Loving grandfather of Lara Schreiner (Ben), Jennifer Beiter, Bryan Beiter, Jeffrey Beiter, Daniel Beiter, and loving great grandfather of Noah Schreiner and Justin Powers. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Johannah, his brothers George and Edward and one sister Gertrude. Mr. Beiter served in the US Army during WWII being one of the first to land on New Guinea, Charter Member of the St. Louis Hinder (handball) Club, inducted into the Missouri Handball Hall of Fame in 1995, and over the years won many handball championships playing until the age of 80 years old. Alvin worked for Comfort Printing and Stationery for 50 years before his retirement.
