Alphonso “Babe” Longo

Longo, Alphonso "Babe", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the age of 73. Loving husband of Peggy Longo; beloved son of the late Alphonso Marion and Catherine Agnes Longo; devoted father of Anthony Alphonso (Angela) Longo and Amie (Michael) Eoff; cherished grandfather of Joshua Eoff, Cody Longo, and Catherine Longo; dear brother of Rose Marie (the late Edward Raymond) Conner, John (Sandra) Longo, Mary Catherine (Charles) Bohn, Dorothy Ann (Kevin) Jekel, Patrick (Ann) Longo, Frank Longo, and Helen (John) McDuffy; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Alphonso was a loving husband, father, grandfather, helpful problem solver, a mechanic, a cook, a model train hobbyist, and he loved his bologna sandwiches.Memorials may be made to Masses or St. Louis Museum of Transportation.
