Alice Cozart

Alice Faye Cozart (nee Coleman), of St. Charles, Missouri, and formerly of De Soto, Missouri, died on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the age of 86, at Evelyn’s House, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on August 12, 1940, to Thomas Carl Coleman and Clara Grace Coleman in De Soto, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Cozart; her parents, Thomas and Clara Coleman; her daughter, Terry (Bob) Abram; her grandchild, Chelsea Abram; her brother, Paul Edward Coleman, and her sister, Marilyn Ann Richardson. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Eric) Dennison, and her son, Shannon (Mary Ellen) Cozart; her grandchildren, Jason Henke, Jesse Abram, Bradley Slenker, Renee Dennison, Lucas Cozart, and Logan Cozart; 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-child, and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was a devoted homemaker who cherished her home and family. She enjoyed playing classical and traditional piano, crocheting, traveling, and was an avid reader. She was recognized for her volunteer work at BJC Hospital, where she helped with blood drives. Alice was also proud of graduating sixth in her class at DeSoto High School. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
