Alice Cosgrove

Alice Cosgrove (nee Kracht), of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Benard J. Cosgrove; beloved daughter of the late Peter and Grace Kracht; devoted mother of Bernie (Sandy) Cosgrove and Karen (Robert) Sandnes; cherished grandmother of Taylor, Katelyn, Jacob (Beka), and Kayla; treasured great-grandmother of five; dear sister of Bud (the late Theil) Kracht. Alice is also preceded in death by her son, Robert Starkenburg; grandson, Joseph Cosgrove; granddaughter, Amy Sandnes; and five siblings.

Alice was born on farm in 1931, she lived in Iowa during her childhood. She was a sweet lady who loved sports, watching gun smoke and Daniel Boone. Alice liked going to Waffle House and ordering her favorite cheese omelet. She was also a very good cook and a devout catholic. Alice was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Alice's name to American Heart Association.
