Alex Garofalo

Alex Garofalo, of Phoenix AZ, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at the age of 41. Beloved son of Brandon Garofalo and Laurie Patterson, stepson of Tina Garofalo; cherished grandson of the late John and Jean Garofalo, Marvin, and Bettie Vineyard; loving father of Bryce Garofalo; dear brother of Joe (Stephanie) Garofalo, Nick (Jessica) Garofalo, Jordan Grivett, Grace Vaughan, Andrew Patterson, Matthew Patterson and the late Stephanie Garofalo; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Alex proudly and honorably served his county in the United Sates Army. He retired from the military in 2021 following the completion of many tours to both Afghanistan and Iraq. Alex enjoyed both riding and working on motorcycles. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Alex was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Alex's name to the Headstrong Project to help those who served before, those who served alongside him and for those who will continue to serve and protect this great country.
