Albert Rose

Albert J. Rose passed away Thursday June 15th, 2023, with his 3 daughters by his side. Al was born in Boston, MA January 15, 1927. He was 96 years old. Preceded in death by his loving wife Doris of 71 years and son Albert Rose. Al is survived by his 3 daughters Janet Rose, Patty Rose and Marsha Young (Tim) Grandchildren Matthew (Marissa), Laura (Greg) Ryan, Michelle, Erin and Kevin. Great grandchildren Anna, Eli and Nora Al was a devout catholic and generous to many charities. Al served our country in the Navy from 1943-1945. Served in WW2 in Saipan in the Pacific. Al began his career in the Airlines as a financial officer at Northeast Airlines in Boston. Relocated to St. Louis to Ozark Airlines as VP of Finance and retired from TWA. Al was a wonderful man, well respected in the business community and by his fellow employees. Al loved sports. Played semi pro football when he was young. Played hockey in the “huff and puff” league till he was in his 50’s. Al was an avid golfer and fortunate to live on golf courses here and in Florida throughout his life. He loved taking his Sunday bag and walking a few holes nights Even after playing 18 holes that day. Dad/Grampy will be greatly missed by his family but we know he is holding hands with Nanny in heaven.

 

A private Funeral Mass will be held for the family.
