Albert Barry Taylor, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the age of 88. Loving husband of 65 years to Juanita 'Skeet' Taylor (NEE: Roush) of Monmouth, Illinois; beloved son of the late Albert B. Taylor and Lucile (Harrison) Taylor; devoted father of Steven B. Taylor of Emu Creek, Victoria, Australia and James S. (JoAnne) Taylor of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; dear brother of Roger P. (Sherrie) Taylor of Normal, Illinois; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters Janet Gasser and Nancy Hanawalt. Barry served in the U.S. Air force in WWII as a flight officer, navigator of B-17's and B-29's from May 1943 to December 1945. He graduated from University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Barry was employed at McDonnell Douglas as a Unit Design Engineer for 30 years until his retirement.
