Albert J. "Al" Balsamo

Albert John Balsamo, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the age of 86. Loving husband of Nancy L. Balsamo; beloved son of the late John and Josephine Balsamo; devoted father of Sharon (Gary) Johnson; cherished grandfather of Ashley (Tom) LaPak, Blake, Evan, and Lance Johnson. Al is also preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannine Balsamo; siblings, Dolly Kabacki, Freida Ahern, Joseph Balsamo, Mary Thompson, and Sam Balsamo.

Al proudly served his country in the United States Army. Al married Nancy, the love of his life, on February 27, 1960, and enjoyed 63 loving years together. He worked for Ozark Airlines, TWA, McDonnell Douglas, and American Airlines as an Engineer and Aviation Technician. Al was a great handyman and loved working on crafting projects. He loved to go bowling and golfing in his free time. Al was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
