Alan "Ted" Boyer

Alan “Ted” Theodore Boyer, Sr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the age of 74, surrounded by his family. Cherished son of the late Carl and Chlodean Boyer; beloved partner of Sara Boyer; devoted father of Alan Theodore (Tara) Boyer, Jr., Elizabeth Ann Boyer and Angela Lyn (Mike) Messmer; loving grandfather of Mackenzie (Jordan) Hill, Dalton White, Sophia Boyer and Michael Messmer; cherished great-grandfather of Murray Hill; dear brother of Karen (Charlie) Collier and Marilyn Boling. Ted is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ted was a hard-working and diligent man who adored his children and grandchildren. He was immensely proud of his family and treasured every opportunity to share his interests and passions with them. He loved fishing and camping, especially when he could enjoy those moments with his grandchildren. Ted had an eclectic taste in music and loved a bit of everything; attending concerts with his wife and children was one of his favorite pastimes. A devoted Cardinals fan, he attended as many games as he could in person. Ted proudly worked for 35 years at General Motors, in skilled trades, retiring in 2020. Ted was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
