Agnes "Aggie" Marie Bilinski

October 25, 1936 — May 9, 2024

St. Louis, MO

Emblem
Agnes “Aggie” Marie Bilinski (nee Tant), of St. Louis, MO went home to be with Our Lord, Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the age of 87. Her passing was peaceful as she slept, which is what we all hope for. In her Aggie fashion, she went out with thunderstorms and tornados. If you knew her, that makes perfect sense. Aggie was the cherished daughter of the late Josephine and James R. Tant; devoted mother of the late Michael Bilinski, Lisa (The late John) Garamella, CeCe (Kirk) Moore, Sheila Thomas; and stepmother to Paula(Tim) Pickens; loving grandmother of Brandon Bilinski, Danielle Turley, Kirk (Kelsey) Moore II, Dane Moore, Dalton Moore, and Alek Moore; treasured great grandmother of Ava Bilinski, Lennon Turley, Jackson Moore, and Maverick Moore; aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Aggie was also preceded in death by her siblings; five sisters, Ethel (Robert) Moore, Bertha (Raymond) Thomas, Nora (Raymond) Lawhenore, Clara (Lewis) Payne, Laura "Alice" (Robert) Aubuchon, four brothers, James "Bud" (Mary Ellen "Pete") Tant, Jesse (June) Tant, John (Gwen) Tant, and Charles Tant, her husband, James Pinkerton, and her stepson, Jeff Pinkerton.

Aggie honorably served to the United States Air Force. She also committed to working full time from the age of 20 until 82, embodying a diligent work ethic she took immense pride in. Her humble and outgoing nature, coupled with her innate caring demeanor, made her a cherished confidante always willing to lend an ear. This made her known as the "Dutchess" at Estes Trucking, where she dedicated over two decades of her career. In her free time, Aggie found joy in shopping, often engrossed in a good book, whipping up delicious meals or enjoying her St. Louis Cardinals. Overall, Aggie loved spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. Her unwavering commitment shone through in her anticipation of the cherished Sunday dinners with her loved ones. Aggie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Aggies's name to the American Heart Association.
