Adele Johnson

Adele Johnson (nee Mitchell), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Warren Franklin Johnson; cherished daughter of the late Virginia Elizabeth and Earl Joseph Mitchell; devoted mother of Richard (Lisa) Glenn, Alexis (Chris Heuvelman) Johnson, and the late Audra (Reginald) Johnson; loving grandmother of Krystal (Tiffany), Isiah, Cameron, Reggie, Paris, Kenny, Destiny, and Jordan; treasured great-grandmother of eight; dear sister of Frederick (the late Sharon) Mitchell.

Adele was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who centered her life around her family. Known lovingly as “Gram” and “Ma-Ma,” she adored her grandchildren and made sure they felt her love every single day- often sending sweet good morning texts to brighten their mornings. She was rarely without a cup of coffee or a Pepsi and was known for always having Hershey’s Kisses to share. A loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan, she cheered faithfully for her team each season. She also cherished her two beloved dogs, Socks and Pepsi, who brought her so much joy. Adele was dearly loved by her friend Dorothy McClendon, who recently passed and welcomed her with open arms, and by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and deep love for her family will be remembered always. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished.
