Samuel William Frederic Kinne was born September 06, 1989 to Robert and Jayne Kinne. He grew up in Saint Charles, Missouri and after High School graduation Sam attended Saint Charles Community College. He joined the Air Force July 30, 2012 as a Ground Radar Systems technician. After graduating his technical skills training at Keesler AFB, Mississippi, he was assigned to the 9th Communications Squadron at Beale AFB, California. During his time in the Air Force he was responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Next Generation Weather Radar and Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems equipment.
Those that best knew Sam, say that he was a charismatic family man, who would do anything for his wife, Laura and son, Amos. He also had a mischievous side, often telling jokes and playing pranks, he wanted the people around him to smile. During his free time, Sam loved taking pictures and enjoyed the outdoors. Even though he was only with our Air force family for two short years, he made a positive impression on leadership and showed commitment and compassion to his peers. Tragically, Airman First Class Kinne passed away June 21, 2014. Sam is survived by his wife Laura, son Amos, parents Robert and Jayne, his sisters Havah, Hannah, and Jannah, brothers Benjamin, Caleb, Joseph, Abraham, Jordan, and Jesse, and a large extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Belva and Fred Kinne, and William and Naomi Buress. He leaves us now, as an Airman, brother, son, husband, and father, a footprint for those to follow. Sam will be greatly missed, but not forgotten!
