William L. "Bill" Faulkner of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 76 on Friday, August 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Violet Faulkner.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Faulkner; his children, Tom Faulkner and Tim (Stacie) Faulkner; his grandchildren, Mitchel Faulkner, Matthew Faulkner, Lauren Faulkner, Amanda Faulkner, and Carson Faulkner; and his dear friend, Jeff Thieme.

Bill was a retired truck driver and longtime member of Teamsters Local 610. He was passionate about sports, golfed whenever he could, and had fond memories of his time officiating high school sports. Storytelling came naturally to Bill and he enjoyed socializing with friends and family or traveling with them. Above everything, Bill was a proud husband, father, and grandpa who loved watching his grandkids at their games and events. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.

He was a very great man and very instrumental to the person I grew to be. Bill will sadly be missed and I know him and my father are already on their second round of golf today with Grandpa Bill G, Lee, and the others that are no longer with us. All my condolences and best wishes to the Faulkner family. I have always considered you my 2nd family.

Remember Bill fondly. He was always nice to my mom and dad, and patient when dad was telling long winded stories. A long time ago!! Our thoughts go out to Bill’s family. My brother, Bill Matthews, is taking
Bill’s passing very hard. I think Bill enjoyed our family those many years ago.

So sorry for the Faulkner Family loss. I got to know Bill while working on the CHS picnics. He could be so sweet to persuade you to get involved and get what he wanted done. However, he told me stories that confirmed he could be very blunt and opinionated. I will miss his phone calls! He always started Hi this is you, how is me. I thiink that broke the ice and started a good friendship. The picnics will definitely not be the same without his prence!

RIP my friend Bill, Lucille Lears Morris Prayers

candle 8All, I was introduced to Bill 31 years ago on my first day of work at what was then Ecolochem. Through the years of company name changes until his retirement I could always bank on a great discussion with Bill during his departures and returns. I appreciated his candor, but most of all his friendship. Our family prays for the Faulkner during this time and ask God to embrace and help heal today, tomorrow, and the days ahead.
    R.I.P Dear Friend

To the Faulkner family…..Bill was one of a kind, but you already knew that.
I’m one of his many friends that he entertained each Wednesday at our
senior golf league. Stories of his youth, his refereeing days and politics.
We will miss him not as you all do but as good friends miss each other.

candle 7Bill was one of a kind; he was diligent and relentless in trying to keep communication and connections going with all of his old classmates from Central H.S. You had to laugh when Bill called; he could always remind you of a story when we were teenagers back in our “American Grafitti” days; that was all of us in that movie. I never saw Bill upset or without a smile on his face. He brought joy and love to many people; refereed by son’s football game between CBC and Vianney and was a devoted, loving father, husband, grandfather and friend. He always talked about his twin grandchildren and couldn’t have been more proud of them. We’ve lost an icon of the class of ’64; no one will ever forget “Bill Faulkner.” I’ve said a special prayer for him in heaven and asked God to give him something to do that would make everyone laugh. God bless you for your spirit and love that you shared with all of us Bill, we’ll see you again some day.
