Vivian E. Loyd

Loyd, Vivian E. (nee: Shadley), of Wentzville, MO, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at the age of 96. She was the loving wife of the late John Anthony Loyd; beloved daughter of the late Frank and Anna Shadley; devoted mother of Elizabeth (Terry) Eastham, Mary (Ed) Wolanski, Jacalyn (Dale) Goetz, John C. “Bucky” Loyd, Lawrence Loyd, Michael (Charlene) Loyd, Lois Loyd, Donald (Kay) Loyd, and Charles (Diane) Loyd; cherished grandmother of 19; and treasured great-grandmother of 19. Vivian is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Ann Elizabeth Loyd; and her siblings, Rex Shadley, Ruth Shadley, Paul Shadley, and Clyde Shadley.

Vivian will be remembered as a very loving, kind, tolerant, and strong woman. Vivian enjoyed gardening and cooking, however her greatest joy was spending time and making memories with her family and friends. Vivian will truly be missed by all who knew her.
