Valentine Heigl, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at the age of 82. Loving husband of the late Aleatha "Lea" Heigl; beloved son of the late Valentine and Helen Heigl; devoted father of Tina (Jim) Stehlick, the late Debbie Pulling, the late Vincent Heigl, the late Eric Heigl, Kurt (Dawn) Heigl, and Mary Clements; cherished grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of seven; companion and loving friend of Carol Smith; dear brother of Ray Heigl and Richard (Carolynn) Heigl; cousin of Hans (Karin Stinglhammer) Roiger and Carl Heinz; beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Val is preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Heigl.
Val proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Overland Police Department for over 30 years serving as a Major and Assistant Police Chief. After retiring Val enjoyed traveling all over the world. Val was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
