Timothy Adam Blake “Noodle” Thompson

April 7, 1985 — August 8, 2016

Timothy Adam Blake “Noodle” Thompson, of O’Fallon, MO, died Monday, August 8, 2016, at the age of 31. Cherished son of Robyn Sue (David) Yackell and James Monroe (Julie) Thompson; loving Father of Blakeleigh Hardine; bushel and a peck loved grandson of Wanda Hermann; amazing brother to Shannon (Chaz) Wesley, Rachel (Ryan) Traynor, Robert (Tai) Thompson, Marshmallow Thompson and Kara Yackell. Timothy went peacefully in his sleep to train as a ninja and eventually return during the long awaited zombie apocalypse. Timothy, known to others as Batman, was an amazing uncle, teaching his nine nieces and nephews the facts of life, how to have fun, and most importantly, to fish. As a cousin, Tim was more like a sibling, often spearheading the next cousin adventure. Whether you worked with him at Best Buy, played softball with him, or met him on the street; you immediately became part of his family and were someone he would go out of his way to help.  Timmy believed every softball needed to go yard and every Pokémon was going to be caught. He saw the world in color when there was often none to be seen, and marched to the beat of his own drum, leaving everyone hearing his music when he left. No place he has ever been will ever be the same without him. Timothy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Thompson, Mildred Thompson, and Robert Hermann.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Homers for Health-Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation using Timothy Thompson as the referral name.
