Theresa Hiatt of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 60 on Saturday, October 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lila Hiatt.

Theresa is survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Handshy, Deborah Myers, James Hiatt II, and Bonita (Marty) Alterson; and her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Theresa was a faithful member of Assumption Parish and she loved the church community she found there. She enjoyed her work at Boone Center and was always ready for the opportunity to learn something new. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Theresa’s name may be made to Boone Center Inc., an organization which provides fulfilling work for adults with disabilities.

    I am so sad that I never get to hear your laughter or see your beautiful smile for awhile. Hopefully I will join you in heaven someday and we can laugh, hug and dance!!

    I am glad to know that you don’t have to suffer any more and are with Jesus now.

    candle 5Terri was a wonderful family member to the HEC Community and brought JOY in so many ways whenever she came on a retreat weekend! Her wisdom and heart-felt comments throughout the weekend never failed to bring a smile to the entire Church as we celebrated life!
    Thanks for all that you were in this life—and all you will continue to be to all of us who know and love you in your new Freedom Terri!—- You will be with us and blessings to your family for the gift they shared with HEC through your presence!

      Thank you for giving us your life. On HEC retreats you shared yourself and your love with all of us unconditionally & for that we are forever blessed. Well done good & faithful servant. You will be missed here on earth but you have joined some awesome people who occupy the HEC heavenly family
