    We offer our condolences to the Hoffmeyer Family.
    Even though years have gone by since our days as neighbors in Spanish Lake, the Jaurigui Family sends are prayers & love! We shared a lot of wonderful memories growing up together. (The bottle rocket fight was crazy!) Our Moms, Jo & Mary Lou, were best friends & their love nourished all of us!
    We know that Steve will be missed.

    Steve epitomized all the characteristics of a Mans Man. There was simply nothing this great friend could not do and do extremely well! His wild spirit will always be in our memories. What a colorful full rich life he led. Our many Scuba and deep sea fishing trips to Mexico, Thursday’s on the ole riv at Candy Island, poker games(which he rarely won), horseshoes(which he always won), golf and so much more. Rest In Peace my dear friend. You will be dearly missed.

Steve certainly had a love of nature & the great out doors, but he was also a very talented craftsman which is reflected in the boat house he built. We all have many fond memories of Steve.     Steve will be missed;
    I was always impressed by his gumption, he was undaunted by the size of any task he took on. His attention to detail and his skill and workmanship showed in all of his projects.
    Steve had a great sense of humor, and was a good man to have as a friend.
    I hope Coors brewery survives his loss.

    candle 4I’m so sorry for your loss. What great memories I have of the entire Hoffmeyer clan. Mrs Hoffmeyer’s sense of humor and creative spirit, the sleepovers, the softball games, ice skating on Thiele’s Lake (but only after Mr Hoffmeyer gave us his thumbs up that the ice was safe.) I remember Steve’s laugh. I also remember the joy and excitement throughout the Hoffmeyer house when Steve’s daughter was born. My prayers are with you. God Bless.

    My condolences to the Hoffmeyer family. Just learned of Steve’s passing. Please accept my condolences, especially Joe and Matt. Have seen very little of you since moving from Larimore Road in 1973. Many great memories from childhood. Steve was a builder from day one. Remember the great forts we built, especially the one on the corner of Gleason’s and Hoffmeyer’s. Got busted once for hocking wood from a construction project, had to tear that fort down. And the underground forts on the lot next to Sherman’s on Larimore, hiding from the girls and … . Hunting, fishing, gigging, skating at Sunfish, Spanish and Thiel’s lakes. Climbing trees. Neighborhood tag. Football, baseball and soccer on Gleason’s lot and at Larimore school. Street hockey at St. Al’s. Riding bikes miles from home. Thanks for the memories, Steve! May the Lord grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.
