Stanford Robert “Bob” Clark, of O’Fallon, Missouri passed away on November 26, 2015 at the age of 59. Bob turned his passion and hobby into his profession. As a photographer he worked in the Midwest and lived in Maple Grove, Minnesota. He was born on April 24, 1956 in Chicago, Il. of Robert S. Clark and Margo Donnelly Clark and was raised and educated in the O’Fallon area and graduated from Fort Zumwalt High School and NMSU in Kirksville, now known as Truman University.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his brother J. Geoffrey Clark (Cynthia, nee Dickman,) and sisters Barbara Bratvogel (Rodger,) Marilyn Laird (Martin) and Jennifer Kortkamp (Thomas.) Also, his nieces and nephews Geoffrey, Jordan and Samuel Clark; Milli, Lydia and Adam Laird; and Thomas (Brianna, nee Seal,) Daniel, Andrew, Mary Kate, Robert, Regina and Anna Kortkamp. His great nephews, Phoenix and Justus Kortkamp are sad because he has gone.
He was a very proud member and former president of the Alumni Association of Truman University. More than a member, Bob was friend and brother to many of the fraternity Phi Lambda Phi, (formerly Phi Lambda Chi,) Alpha Chapter. Always there and part of the conversation, sometimes thee conversation, Boobie, the nickname given to him by his frat brothers, will be sorely missed at the annual Alumni Association float trip, were he rarely missed in over 35 years.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wentzville, Missouri at 10 a.m. A rosary will be prayed at 9 a.m. there. After the funeral mass a luncheon will be given in the church hall. Internment will follow at about 1 p.m. at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, 3950 West Clay St., St. Charles, Missouri.
