Shirley Mae Karniski

Karniski, Shirley Mae (nee: Hobein), of Hazelwood, MO, died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Arthur James Karniski; beloved daughter of the late Edward and Luella Hobein; devoted mother of Allen (Connie) Karniski, Sandra (Joseph) Pagano, and Christine (Dean) Buffington; cherished grandmother of Daryl (Melody) Smith, Leo Pagano, and Philip Pagano; treasured great-grandmother of Carter Smith, Dayton Pagano, Morgan Smith, Leah Pagano, and Hailey Smith; dear sister of Jack (Marilyn) Hobein, Barbara Morris, Bill Hobein, and Bob (Kathy) Hobein; sister-in-law of Jim Lopiccolo; loving aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her grandson Daniel Smith and siblings Edward, Lawrence, and Lois. Shirley's greatest enjoyments in life was playing cards, singing, and playing the ukulele with her family and friends.
