Shirley loved to camp in her “lucy and Desi” streamline camper. We fondly remember those fun times. We had lots of laughs. You will be missed but we know you’re at peace now.

Cousin Shirley loved coming to Joplin several times a year. She especially like coming in June for the annual Knight Family reunion. She loved spending time with everyone… How we will miss her. It’s not good-bye but until we meet again. Love you.

One of my favorite memories of Shirley while camping is, we were all sitting in our chairs in the water as we always did. We had caught a little minnow and dared Shirley to eat it. Well as soon as Anna told here if she ate it she would not have to pay her the $50 she owed her. Well needless to say she ate it!! RIP GIRLFRIEND +++G-+ +++-++

I signed up recently for Facebook… found Shirley’s page through a friend list, but noticed she hadn’t posted anything in over a year. A google search led me here today. I am very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing.. I worked with her at Claywest house as a CNA and had the pleasure of also knowing her daughter Christina. I was always in awe of Shirley’s strength in getting through that loss and then later the loss of Joe. Shirley and I had lots of fun working third shift at the nursing home. She was a wonderful person and I will always have a place in my heart for her. RIP Shirley.
