Shirley Ann Schulte, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of Clyde Schulte; cherished daughter of the late William and Helen Schulte; devoted mother of Vicki (Bruce) Jaycox, Kirk (Sheryl) Schulte, and Craig (Angela De los Santos) Schulte; loving grandmother of Brittani (Ryan) Kappauff, Audrey Schulte, Brooke (Andrew) Nichols, Kelli Jaycox, Breanna Schulte, and Kacie Jaycox; treasured great-grandmother of Caydan, Carter, Hudson, Austyn, and Colton; dear sister of the late Billie Sue Schulte; sister-in-law of Barb (Dave) Wehmeyer and the late Roberta Kohrs; Shirley is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
Shirley taught at Monroe Elementary School in St. Charles for nearly thirty years. In her younger years she was quite the water skier, she loved boating, going to their condo at the Lake of the Ozarks and riding her Sea-doo. Shirley enjoyed sewing, cooking, going on cruises and traveling and being out in the sun. She was known for keeping her home pristine and having a perfect flower garden. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very important to her. A fond memory was when she would have “the six pack” of all of her granddaughters over for sleepovers and would play games, especially cards and Scrabble. Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
A private memorial mass will be held at St. Cletus Catholic Church in Shirley’s honor.

Sending my deep condolences to Clyde and family. Shirley was a sweet, friendly, helpful person and will be deeply missed. Keeping her in my prayers.
I am so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. She was my lead teacher for one of my student teaching practicums at Monroe Elementary School. The students loved her and she was wonderful with them. She taught me so much and I have thought fondly of her many times over the years. My condolences and prayers go out to her family.
One of the BEST from 1958 SCHS class!
I was deeply saddened to hear that Shirley has passed away. We shared lunch time together at Monroe for many, many years. She was spirited and funny. Every minute with her was passed pleasantly. Her kindness will be missed.
