Shirley Ann Moore (nee Humphrey), of Warrenton, MO, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the age of 77. Loving wife of the late Darrell Moore; beloved daughter of the late Carl Humphrey and Beatrice Vessel; devoted mother of Kelly (Rich) Johns and Curt (Cris) Stephens, Jr.; step mother of Sheila Stewart; cherished grandmother of Chad Stephens; treasured great-grandmother Camden Stephens; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; dear sister of Brenda Vessel, Vernon "Butch" (Karen) Vessel, and Howard (Jennifer) Vessel. Shirley is also preceded in death by her sister, Irene Vessel.

Shirley was a hardworking and selfless. She was always there for everyone, always putting others before herself. For many years Shirley worked as a beautician before dedicating over 30 years as a school bus driver in the Fort Zumwalt School District. She was very patient and caring with every child who came on her bus and assisted with training bus drivers. Shirley also enjoyed listening to music from the 50’s and 60’s. Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to the Alzheimer's Association.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.

    candle 4I remember Shirley as trainer when I was hired as a bus driver for Ryder at Francis Howell School district.
    Shirley was,always uplifting, positive encouraging and I still can recall her giggle and smile even after all these years.

    Shirley was my 4th grade bus driver when she worked at Francis Howell and was my tester when I took my CDL driving test. She was a wonderful lady.

    Heartfelt condolences to the family of this fine lady whom I have known for so many years. We were both 3rd party testers for the state and shared test site facilities at the rock road. So many good memories. Rest In Peace my friend. Heaven is blessed to have you.

    Shirley was such a sweet lady….knew her when we all worked for Ryder Student Transportation at the Francis Howell location. What a super school bus trainer & her involvement in student transportation & safety. Thoughts & prayers to her family. Thanks for all the good times Shirley.

    Right now I have to say “Good Bye” to my best friend. A friend who had a big heart along with most contagious giggle. We sure had great times together. You were an exceptional friend. But now you are at peace and with the Lord. I will always remember you as the best friend a person could have. I love you, Shirley with all my heart.
