Shirley Ann Moore

June 27, 1943 — September 13, 2020

Shirley Ann Moore (nee Humphrey), of Warrenton, MO, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the age of 77. Loving wife of the late Darrell Moore; beloved daughter of the late Carl Humphrey and Beatrice Vessel; devoted mother of Kelly (Rich) Johns and Curt (Cris) Stephens, Jr.; step mother of Sheila Stewart; cherished grandmother of Chad Stephens; treasured great-grandmother Camden Stephens; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; dear sister of Brenda Vessel, Vernon "Butch" (Karen) Vessel, and Howard (Jennifer) Vessel. Shirley is also preceded in death by her sister, Irene Vessel.

Shirley was a hardworking and selfless. She was always there for everyone, always putting others before herself. For many years Shirley worked as a beautician before dedicating over 30 years as a school bus driver in the Fort Zumwalt School District. She was very patient and caring with every child who came on her bus and assisted with training bus drivers. Shirley also enjoyed listening to music from the 50’s and 60’s. Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
