Rose Josephine Giambalvo
March 19, 1931 — September 30, 2019
Rose Josephine Giambalvo, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Michael Giambalvo Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Marguerita Bono; devoted mother of Toni (Paul) Gerlach and Michael Giambalvo Jr.; beloved godmother of the late Barry Bono and Kelly Flemming; treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Rose is also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Vito, and Charles Bono; sisters, Catherine Stabile, Josephine Howe, Frieda Giambalvo, and Antoinette Latragna.
Rose’s favorite activity was going to the casino, with Las Vegas being her favorite travel destination. She loved spending time with her kids and making Italian Christmas cookies for everyone. Rose also loved watching Cardinals games. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
