Rose was preceded in death by her dear sisters-in-law Sister Rose Duchesne Debrecht, Virginia (Jean) Debrecht, and Mildred "Mid" Ochs, and brother-in-law Herbert "Hap" Ochs.
Rose’s biggest joy and love in life was her family. She thoroughly enjoyed creating memories with those she loved. The start to her family began with letters traded with her beloved husband Fritz after his draft into the Korean War. She loved dancing with him at wedding receptions, and they were known to have smooth moves. She kept track of all her family members, could even recite the family tree and how each member was related. She loved cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals or playing card games like 313, Pinochle, or Poker.
Rose also enjoyed an early career at Big 4 Chevrolet in St. Louis and ACF in St. Charles. She loved to take adventures travelling all over the world and the US, some of her favorite destinations being Italy and Poland, and she had excellent navigation and map reading skills. She loved to take in a quiet afternoon reading novels or biographies or doing crossword puzzles. Later in life, Rose resumed her love of piano and began to practice and perform again at the age of 89.
Rose will be remembered for her buoyant, positive attitude she carried throughout her whole life. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
