Morrow, Rodger D., of St. Peters, MO, died on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at the age of 68. Loving husband of Dana Morrow; beloved son of the late Leo and Thelma Morrow; devoted father of Matthew (Regina) Morrow, Amy Morrow, Jennifer Morrow, and Rebecca Morrow; grandfather of 8; great-grandfather of 1. He is preceded in death by his brothers Jim Morrow and Les Morrow.
Rodger proudly served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War where he served 2 tours. He then became a firefighter in Englewood, Colorado. He formed a new fire department in Henderson County, Tennessee and served as a firefighter in Blue Springs, Missouri. Rodger was a fire inspector, paramedic, and then captain for the Chesterfield Fire Department now called Monarch.
Rodger retired in 2005 and spent his time training a National Champion German Shepherd, he enjoyed playing the mandolin and guitar, mainly blue grass music with his band The Ozark Tie Hackers. He liked playing golf, painting, and volunteering with the Salvation Army, most recently his hobby had been archery. But most of all he loved studying the Bible as a devout Christian, and being with his family and friends.
