Robert Zerjav of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 89 on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Colvin; his parents, John and Geraldine Zerjav and Ida (nee: Gentemann) Zerjav;  his brother, John "Sonny" R. Zerjav  and his half-brother, Frank Zerjav.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of seventy years, Dotty Zerjav; his children, Claudie (Steve) Weber and Paul Zerjav; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his half-siblings, Carol Ingraham and Tom Zerjav.

Robert proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a talented carpenter who enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry for over fifty years, working on many fine buildings during that time. Robert was an outdoorsman who enjoyed the time he spent camping with loved ones and treasured the memories they all made together around the campfire. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Robert’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

    My Father used to talk about him all the time. My Father was Carl Edward Schaffrin. I think they were cousins. So amazing they were married for 70 years!!!
