Robert William Petrie

Robert “Bob” Petrie of St. Peters, MO, died on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the age of 81. Loving husband of the late Bonita Petrie (nee: Oetting); beloved son of the late Anthony William and Verna Anna Petrie; devoted father of Vicky (Ed) Ohlms (nee: Gronefeld), Kim Simone (nee: Petrie), and Kendall William (Nancy nee: Friday) Petrie; cherished grandfather of John (Christine Eddings) Ohlms, Jacob (Julie) Ohlms, Julie (Cody Anno) Ohlms, Gerard Simone, Gina Simone, Nicole (Jese) Sjorlund, and Nathan (Molly DeBusk) Petrie; dear brother-in-law of Al Piche. Bob is also survived by many extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Piche.

Bob was a dedicated husband and family man. He was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church where he was active in the ACTS Bible Study.  Bob enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, playing cards, especially pinochle, and taking part in the many activities at Delmar Gardens.
