Robert Hemsath Sr. of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Frieda Hemsath; and his siblings, Arnold Hemsath and Leona Kelley.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Helen Marie Hemsath (nee Stewart); his children, Robert H. (Beckie) Hemsath Jr., Karen (Mark ) Borgmann, Barbara (Gary) Miget, and James (Kim) Hemsath; his grandchildren, Travis (Sara) Hemsath, Tyler (Jessica) Hemsath, Brian Borgmann, Amanda Borgmann, Sarah (Blake) Coval, Seth Miget, Abigail Hemsath, Jameson Hemsath, Tanner Hemsath, Hayden Hemsath; his great-grandchildren, Hazel, Holt, Landen, Blane, and Brock; his siblings, Catherine (John) Johnson, Dennis Hemsath, and Donald (Kyong) Hemsath; and he was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Robert was a faithful member of Friedens United Church of Christ in St. Charles, MO and greatly enjoyed the church community there. He was an outdoorsman who liked to get out whenever he could and spend his days camping, fishing, and traveling in his RV. Woodworking was one of Robert’s great talents and he could truly make almost anything. Robert will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in Robert’s name may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
