Richard Thiele
August 3, 1937 — July 22, 2017
Richard Dean Thiele, Sr., of Saint Peters, MO, passed on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the age of 79. Loving husband of Joyce Thiele; beloved son of the late Henry and Lena Thiele; devoted father of Richard Dean Thiele, Jr., Karen K. (Paul) Bixler, Roley A. Thiele, and Michelle D. (Ken) Kohler; cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Rachel, Lauren, Madison, Clayton, and Riley; dearest brother of Raymond (Miyako) Thiele; He is Preceded in death by his brother, Robert Thiele.
Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as Master Sergeant. He was a member of V.F.W. post #2866. In retirement Richard served as a St. Charles County Corrections Officer. He enjoyed motorcycles and playing the trumpet. Richard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Private burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
