Richard “Pete” Ubben

Ubben, Richard "Pete" Joseph of O’Fallon, Missouri, on Saturday October 20, 2018, at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of 58 loving years to Dorothy Ubben; cherished son of the late Emma Welsch; devoted father of Cathy Ubben and Sandy (Tom) Renaud; loving grandfather of Erin (Derek) Gagnon, Amanda (Dan) Fowler, T.J. (Danielle) Renaud, Drew (Maria) Renaud, Annie Renaud, Abby Renaud, and Joey Ubben; treasured great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Herman, Mary, and Laura.

Pete is preceded in death by his brother Chick and sister Katie.

Pete proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1948 to 1951. He had a long career with and retired from the Army Corp of Engineers. He also worked at the St. Peters Rec Plex for some time. Pete enjoyed fishing and working in the yard. He loved to volunteer at St. Josephs Hospital in Lake St. Louis. Pete was a very generous man, loved spending time with his grandkids and enjoyed taking them fishing. He was a long-time member of Assumption Catholic Church of O’Fallon, MO. Pete was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
