Raymond L. Ake of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Saturday June 30, 2018, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 27 wonderful years to Deborah Ake; cherished son of the late Dewey E. and Bobbie Ake; dear brother of Karen Holtzhauser and Marguerite (Eddie) Steel; also survived by 2 nephews. Raymond is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Mickey Holtzhauser.
Raymond proudly served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed going to the shooting range, and he also loved reading history books. Raymond was a dearly loved husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
