Ralph "Greg" Chapman of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 67 on Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Jean Chapman; and his parents, Otto “Ralph” and Thelma Chapman.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 48 years, Sarah “Sally” Chapman; his children, Gregory Scott (Shanna) Chapman, Jeannean (Stacy) Fenske, Jason Chapman, and Matthew Chapman; his grandchildren, Desirae Wells, Zachariah Wells, Jade Chapman, Sahvannah Chapman, and many others who called him Dad or Grandpa; and his siblings, Steve (Easter) Chapman and Julie (Brian) Chatman.

Greg enjoyed spending his time through woodworking, playing pool, and working with computers. He also treasured the good times he had camping with friends and family. Greg will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Contributions in Greg’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association or to United Service Organizations.

    Jay I am so sorry to see this. As I texted you yesterday, I reached out to Greg a couple of weeks ago and did not hear back. Now I know why. I just pulled up this obit and saw his photo and my heart sank. Greg was a fun guy to be around and I enjoyed playing pool with him for a couple of years. I wish you and your family the best to get through this difficult time.

    Our knowing Greg and his Family has been a real pleasure with many memories and the good times we shared. We’re so glad that we got together again and were able to catch up on our time apart while you were in K. C. Very grateful for the camping trip we went on together. So sorry for yours and our loss. What a great family man and friend. You will be greatly missed.

    Greg was a great guy. Every time I had a computer problem I would email him and tell him whenever he had time. He was always right there to help and I thanked him. God Bless you Greg!

    I worked with Greg for several years at the Stinson law firm (when he was in Kansas City). He was always very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He had a great sense of humor and treated us all like family. He will be missed!

I was fortunate to speak with him the last Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I’m so glad that we had a few minutes to chat. I will always remember him, he was a great guy.
