Prather A. Ford, Jr., of St. Charles, MO, on Monday April 10, 2017, at the age of 85 years. Loving husband of Carol Ford for 40 years; Prather was the son of the late Alma and Prather Ford; proud father of Prather (Donna) Ford III, Deb (Bob) Lewis; Kathleen (Garry) Crangle; Sandra (Charles) Reusnow; Christine (Ben) Hernandez; and Michele (Jerry) Alt; Grandfather of 14, Great-Grandfather of 13, Great-Great- Grandfather of 8; brother of Pat (John) Sarmiento.
Prather, an engineer, retired from the automobile industry. He loved the game of golf and was a member at Bogey Country Club. In retirement, he was on the course 4 times a week if not more. Prather always was entertained at the Fox and the Muny and loved to travel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of St. Louis or SSM Hospice of St. Charles.
