Peter R. Melius
January 21, 1935 — November 25, 2018
Peter R. Melius of St. Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Donna L. Melius; cherished son of the late Ella Mae and Joseph Fulcan; devoted father of Donald R. (Debbie) Melius, and Brian M. (Jennifer) Melius; loving grandfather of Stacy (Steven) Buss, Jason Melius, Christopher Melius, Brianna Melius, Samantha Melius, and Drew Melius; and treasured great-grandfather of Taylor Buss and Dylan Buss.
Peter courageously served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He then dedicated many years as a truck driver and was part of Teamster Local 600. When he was not on the road, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Peter was also an avid sports fan, often cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
