Peggy Lynn Buhrman (nee: Thomas), 59, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, from lung cancer. Ms. Buhrman was born May 15, 1960, to Donald and Sue Thomas.
Peggy is survived by her four children, Jason (fiancé Brooke), Jake (Katie), Jon and Jessica Buhrman; her grand-daughter, Nicole Buhrman;. her parents, Don and Sue Thomas, a brother, Steve (Lydia) Thomas, her brother-in-law, Mike (Cindy) Gravemann, all of St. Charles. She was a wonderful aunt and great-aunt. She was proceeded in death by her sister, Jennifer Gravemann.
Peggy was the proud owner of Piazza Deli in Defiance, MO. She was generous all the way to her death by donating her body to science.
At her request, there will be no formal service or visitation. The family will celebrate her life with a gathering of family and friends at Tubby’s Hall, 506 Droste Road, St. Charles, MO, on Sunday, September 15, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady’s Inn at 3607 Highway D in Defiance (ourladysinn.org) or to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
