Hays, Pearl (nee: Hendrix) of O’Fallon, MO, died Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Edward Hays; cherished daughter of the late Ira and Bessie Hendrix; devoted mother of Patricia (Edward) Harper and the late Roy Hays; loving grandmother of Steven (Denise) Harper, Mark (Carrie) Harper, Roy (Amy) Hays, Jr., Staci Hedges-Hays, and Chris (Sherry) Twidwell; treasured great-grandmother of 11; dear great-great-grandmother of 1; and cherished sister of Charlie Hendrix and Henry Hendrix.
Pearl loved reading Western novels and had an extensive collection of elephants. She retired from Moog Automotive after many years. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
