Patricia Mary Jones (nee Guelker), of St. Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Guelker and survived by her father John (Jack) Guelker, son Michael Jones, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Pat had an ever-present sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and a creative flare. Her artistic talent most notably produced treasured oil paintings and a miniature Christmas village. candle 6Our prayers are with you all at this time. I never talked with Patti that she didn’t have a smile on her face and eager to tell you what new hobbies or project she was working on. So creative and kind. We will miss her greatly.

candle 1Yes, Pat had an extraordinary gift of focus and detail in her artwork. She won many awards & honorable mentions at the St. Charles County Community College Art Extravaganza each year. She brought her authentic laugh & conversation to our classes weekly. She is still smiling.

I remember going to my cousin Pat’s house for many Christmas’s and being amazed at her Christmas decorations like the winter villages with miniature houses, snow covered evergreens, frozen over ponds with kids skating, etc. Somewhere in Heaven I’m sure there are Angels admiring the same creative talent and wonderful person that we were all so fortunate enough to know.

Few people knew how intelligent, talented and gifted Pat was her whole life. She also was interested in ballet .

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and anyone who knew her. I hope she took her favorite paintbrush with her. What a treasure trove for an artist she will find in Heaven!

    Love,

    Aunt Agnes
