Hood, Pamela Jean (nee Ray; formerly Cardinal), of Naples, Florida died on Sunday July 9, 2017 at the age of 68. Loving wife of Larry Hood; devoted daughter to Maxine M Boatman and the late John C. Ray; beloved mother of Angela Kuenzle (William) and Sherri Hercules (Patrick); dear step mother to Shawna Cantu (Robert) and Angie Lundstrom (Jason); former wife to Joseph Cardinal (Kathy); sister to Judith L Durbin, Jay C Ray and the late Johnny Ray; and most loving grandmother to Anna-Marie Kuenzle, Catherine Hercules, Kane Lundstrom, Alexander Kuenzle, Nolan Lundstrom, Zimber Cantu, Jonathan Hercules, Alizabeth Kuenzle and the late Matthew Hercules and Rebecca Hercules; admired aunt, cousin, sister in law and friend. She is proceeded in death by her father John C. Ray, her brother Johnny Ray, her granddaughter Rebecca Hercules and her grandson, Matthew Hercules.

Pam loved to spend time with her family, traveling and devoting countless hours to helping others. Her unwavering, giving spirit will never be forgotten.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Stroke Association in the name of Pam Hood.

There will be no formal funeral.
