Otto F. Kliethermes

Otto Frank Kliethermes of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Theresa M. Kliethermes; cherished son of the late Herman and Lena Kliethermes; devoted father of Kathleen (Kenneth) Wallace and Steve (Janet) Kliethermes; loving grandfather of Kenny Wallace, and Lena Wallace; dear brother of Delphine Schanzmeyer.

Otto is also preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence, Anton, Roman, and Louis Kliethermes; and sisters, Eleanor Kemna, and Sr. Martina (Regina) Kliethermes.

Otto proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Navy during WW II.  He retired from Boeing after 39 years as a machinist and was a member of IAM and AW Lodge #837 for over 65 years. Otto was also a member of VFW Post 5077. He was a faithful member of St. Barnabas Church in O’Fallon, MO, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. Otto loved to play and watch tennis, play pool, garden, and take care of his lawn. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
