Norma Wempe

Norma Jean Wempe of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Fama Wilson; her sister, Wanda Wilson; and her granddaughter, Amanda Bryan.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Wempe; her children, Bob (Gail) Davis, Jeanne (Lee) Steinbecker, John Schroeder, and Sue (Phil Corse) Schroeder; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad) Hults, Chelsea (Adam) Ames, Brian Davis, Tyler Bryan, and Dalton Bryan; her great-granddaughter, Madison Hults; and she was a dear friend.

Norma had a special place in her heart for the peace and serenity of nature. She enjoyed reading a good book or testing her wits by playing word games. Norma loved her dogs and treasured their companionship. Many great memories were made during Norma’s trips abroad and she always looked forward to collecting seashells from the beaches she visited. She will be dearly missed.
