Nettie Jean Bova

Nettie Jean Bova (nee Pender), age 74, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late William F. Bova, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Conard and Sarah Adaline Pender; devoted mother of Ronnie (Annmarie) Pogue, Barb (Steve) Schipper, Theresa Kemper, Michael (Linda) Pogue, Billie (Michelle) Bova, Melanie Pogue, Brian (Kim) Pogue, and William (Katie Healy) Bova, Jr.; loving grandmother of 31; treasured great-grandmother of 13.5; and dear sister of Alice “Sudamae” Gore, Betty Brawley, Linda Frye, Glinda Kreitler, and the late Essie Jo Taylor.

Nettie was a strong-willed, independent woman who was very social. She loved her St. Louis Cardinals, Betty Boop, and Penny Slots. Pink was Nettie’s favorite color. The color was very meaningful to her because she was a breast cancer survivor. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her wonderful family. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
