Nadine Boon

Nadine Boon of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 83 on Friday, November 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Boon; and her parents and siblings.
Nadine is survived by her husband, Fraser Leonard; her son, Robert Boon; her granddaughter, Ashton Boon; her great-grandson, Murphy; her brother-in-law, Art Leonard; her daughter-in-law, Reggie Boon; and she was a loving friend to many and never knew a stranger.
Nadine’s great passion was serving her community and remaining committed to providing guidance and leadership to many organizations. Her legacy of service is evidenced by the prestigious awards (such as the Missouri Economic Developer Award given to her by Governor Blunt) she earned through her work as well as on the boards in the Missouri/St. Charles area to which she lent her time and talents.
Nadine was an active member and former President of the St. Charles Rotary Club, and The Foundry Art Center. Founder and Past President of the St. Charles Riverfront Arts, Inc., a member of The Missouri Economic Development Financing Association, and an Advisory Board Member of the St. Charles Economic Development Center and the SSM St. Joseph Health Center and Hospital.
Her career concluded as Vice President of Leasing and Sales for Thomas Realty Group, her lifelong involvement with realty extended to membership with the Missouri and National Associations of Realtors and The St. Charles County Association of Realtors.
Nadine pursued writing and was working on a novel, The Sharecropper’s Daughter, at the time of her passing. She not only loved her husband Fraser, and was his greatest fan and promoter as she supported the Fraser Fine Art Gallery and his artwork. She went to every art gallery in every country she ever traveled to.
Throughout her life, Nadine was always respected for her tireless dedication to improving the lives of those in her community and her love for Jesus Christ was always her first priority. Her last words were, “Wow!" as she reached up.
Nadine’s family would appreciate flowers or contributions to the American Cancer Society to honor her memory.
