Nadia Cristina Nascimento, of Saint Charles, MO, formerly of Quincy, IL passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 33 following a tragic accident. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse with The Landing of O’Fallon prior to her passing.
Nadia was born on July 27, 1986 in Sao Paulo, Brazil the daughter of Antonio “Tony” and Dolores (nee: Camargo) Nascimento and lived in Brazil with her family till the age of 11. Nadia and her family moved to the United States and settled in Quincy, IL where she graduated from high school. She received her LPN from St. Charles Community College. Nadia had many passions in her life which include using her artistic talents, a leader for girl scouts, and trips to the beach, but most of all she was dedicated to her work as a nurse and caring for people in need, especially her family. Nadia was a devoted daughter, fiancée, mother and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Nadia is survived by her beloved fiancé, Kyle Carl O’Johnson; her cherished children, Riley C. Baker, Khloey A. O'Johnson, Kiley M. O'Johnson; her loving parents and she was “daddy’s beautiful warrior”, Antonio C. and Dolores C. (Camargo) Nascimento; grandmother, Lourdes Carmargo; brother, Carlos E. Nascimento; mother-in-law, Yvette Young; brother-in-law, Tony Young; sister-in-law, Kaaydah Nangle; and many aunts, uncles, and extended family here in the states as well as family in Brazil.
