Myrtle Ann Carter (nee Wilson), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the age of 81. Loving wife of the late Vernon Carter; beloved daughter of the late William Albert and Edna Mae Wilson; devoted mother of Linda (Greg) Sims and Anthony W. (Julie) Carter; cherished grandmother of Anthony Michael (Veronica) Carter, Troy Carter, Paige Aline Carter, Sara Marie Sims, Shawn Sims, Brooke (Justin) Severt, Blair Corrine (Jacob) Hummel, Alexandria Gail Howard, and Christopher Moore; treasured great-grandmother of Glaison, Kruise, Barrett, Lainey, Jack, Jason, and Jacob; beloved aunt and friend to many. Myrtle is preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Michael Carter, seven sisters, and two brothers.
Myrtle loved gardening and bird watching. Above all else, Myrtle loved her family tremendously. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
