Myrna “Jean” Mauk

Myrna “Jean” Mauk, (nee: Young) of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late William Doyle Mauk; cherished daughter of Max and Myrna Ethel Young; devoted mother of Karen (Mark) Lowery, Cindy (Scott) Edgar, Pat (Al) Walden; loving grandmother of Adam (Christa) Walden, Jacob Walden, Phillip (Loren) Lowery, Kayle (Michael) Garcia, and Daniel (Kelly) Edgar; treasured great-grandmother of Parker, Ellera, Deklan, and Ensley.

Jean is also preceded in death by her brother, Donald (Regina) Young.

Jean enjoyed all animals, and she especially loved birdwatching. She also liked to do crafts, particularly painting and ceramics. Jean loved traveling with her husband, and she was a gifted vocalist, who enjoyed singing opera, as well as singing in her church choir. Jean was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jeans's name to the American Cancer Society.
